Amazed by the process to substitute foods

My husband had just recently got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. I am an avid cook. This book excited me so much! I love a challenge in the kitchen and the innovative ways to make a pasta or pizza crust or even a cauliflower Ziti was an absolute gift. I was scared I wouldn’t be able to cook things we both loved eating anymore. Also the desserts are surprisingly good, I didn’t have high expectations until we tried and they are delicious!!

I haven't tried many recipes yet. I don't cook much but your recipes look really good & I will give a lot of them a try. I have tried the cake in the mug. I was a little leary using Besti because I don't like the terrible after taste Monkfruit has but I didn't notice it on eating 1/2 of the cake. I did notice it a little bit when I ate the whole cake. I did the chocolate cake & it was quick to make & gave me my chocolate fix. I used my 2 cup pyrex measuring cup. Can I make a double batch? God bless.

Everything I hoped for

I am very pleased with this book. It has most of the basic recipes I wanted in physical form (it's sometimes just easier to flip through pages in a book rather than remember or search through bookmarks and such), and some more creative ones to spark imagination. My favorite is definitely the first part that thoroughly explains various aspects such as what basic keto baking ingredients there are, how they are used, and how to substitute them. Also, the section going over how to replace staples luke pasta, rice, and potatoes was my favorite part, with several surprising but clever alternatives that I can't wait to try. Just having the book gave me the confidence to try making the caramel sauce, which worked out wonderfully (I did add a rounded teaspoon of mollases since I didn't have brown besti) and put it on the pancakes that are also in the book, it was awesome! I've been waiting for this cookbook for a while and it did not disappoint.

Great recipe variety!

I love the variety of recipes in this cookbook. It seems like so many keto cookbooks are full of the “throw some cream cheese, heavy cream, and cheddar in the slow cooker” kinds of meals. While I enjoy those on occasion, I don’t want that day-in and day-out. This cookbook is NOT like that. There is such a variety of recipe types! Some of my favorites so far have been: Zoodle Pasta Salad, Steak Burrito Bowls, Sesame Chicken, and especially Classic Beef Lasagna. This lasagna recipe provides a hearty serving size for only 5.1 net carbs! It reheats great too, if have leftovers, which we rarely have!

Keto maple syrup

This is my second purchase of the maple syrup. It is the best keto syrup I have tasted. I have tried several other syrups and none are as good as this one. It tastes exactly like maple syrup, and is wonderful in cooking or using on pancakes and waffles. I have no side effects or after taste and no rise in my sugar.
